Timed entry. Book online for a date and entry time (or Anytime Admission). Tickets may be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the visit, subject to availability; all sales final and non-refundable. No recreation.gov.
When tickets sell out
Official (Rockefeller Center magazine, updated June 2026): walk-up tickets are sold at the 50th Street box office, but popular time slots – particularly evenings and peak-season weekends – sell out in advance.

Opening hours
Daily 8 AM – 12 AM (midnight); last entry 11:10 PM. Open year-round. The Beam and SKYLIFT operate weather permitting.
How long to plan
Most visits last 45 minutes to 1 hour (no time limit on the decks). Add 15–20 minutes each for The Beam or SKYLIFT; with add-ons typically 90 minutes to 2 hours.
Travel tips
- Subway: B, D, F or M train to 47–50th Streets/Rockefeller Center.
- Entrance: 50th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues – look for the red carpet on the south side of the street.
- Parking: 53 West 48th Street (discounted parking for Top of the Rock guests can be bought in advance).
- You exit at the Rink Level gift shop under 30 Rock.
Accessibility
Wheelchairs, walkers, canes and scooters are permitted on SKYLIFT; wheelchairs are not permitted on The Beam. Restrooms on the 66th floor reached by elevator from 67.
Before you go
- Security screening for all guests; no outside food or beverages; no weapons of any kind including glass bottles, lighters and all knives; no tripods.
- Large bags and luggage are not permitted and there is no storage on site.
- No re-entry once you exit the decks.
- All sales final; reschedule up to 24 h before. Tickets are not refunded for weather.
- The Beam: min height 42 in (107 cm); under 52 in must ride with an adult; max 300 lb; no phones or personal items (cubbies provided); closed-toe or heel-strap shoes.
- SKYLIFT: under 18 must be with an adult; max 300 lb; clear floor – pants/shorts/tights recommended; no strollers, large bags, selfie sticks.
- The Christmas Tree and The Rink are NOT visible from the decks.
Best time to visit
8 AM opening for smallest crowds and sharp morning light; sunset is the most popular slot (book sunset-timed entry); 8 PM onward for SKYLIFT’s nighttime light show.
